Employee Resources

Employee Resources

Here you will find information about important employee processes. Information can be accessed by clicking your subject matter of interest using the links below. An effort has been made to summarize the most important aspects of the various processes. Please be sure to let us know if you have need for a subject matter that is not listed.

New Hire Orientation

Human Resource Orientation | All employees are required to attend the Human Resource Orientation within the first month of hire. Employees are informed of this requirement and are given the date and time of the session they have been registered to attend during their onboarding. Please communicate the importance of this requirement to your new employee and ensure their attendance.

Background Checks

CRISTA Ministries values the safety of our employees and those we serve. Accordingly, CRISTA Ministries conducts criminal background checks through the Department of Social & Health Services, Washington State Patrol, and Trak-1 (multi-state), for employees, volunteers, interns, and contractors.

Please contact Human Resources if you need to complete a background check.

Commute Trip Reduction Program

If you commute to any of CRISTA’s Campuses via bus, carpool (two or more CRISTA employees), vanpool, bicycle, or on foot, you may be eligible for a BONUS – a CRISTA Commute Trip Reduction Program (CTR) Incentive Bonus, that is!

Commuting to work (1/2 mile or more) by any non-drive-alone method at least three days a week entitles you to receive a $25 CRISTA CTR Commute Subsidy each month.

One of the biggest myths about alternative commuting is that you have to do it 100% of the time. Not true. Even sharing a ride to work a few days a week can make a difference. It may take a little advance planning, but if we all change our habits just a little bit, our community will ultimately be a better place to live and work.
